This week I had the great honor of being invited onto the EXIT podcast.
The EXIT project is the work of
, created as a fraternal organization dedicated to ending our reliance on corporate employment, so that individuals can’t be coerced by politicized HR departments. They are in the process of building cancellation insurance, legal defense funds, investment funds, alternative schools, preparedness services, and arts patronage.
We primarily discussed my somewhat controversial take that those within our sphere who have the potential to become elites should consider spending a period at one of the elite progressive institutions - not to subvert, but to learn.
We discussed how to secure an interview at a company like Google as an imperfect candidate (ie. as someone that is not from an ‘under-represented community’), how to pass a challenging interview process with confidence, how to thrive within this kind of company, and how to use the resulting wealth and education to continuously transition to a place of independent strength in which you no longer rely on the progressive system.
If this sounds interesting, please give it a listen. If you want to follow this path, I’ve written up a structured playbook below as a bonus for our Black Island members (our paid subscription tier). Check it out.
