There have been a series of cancellation attempts on the Right this week, focusing on targets from a sonnenrad-enjoying DeSantis speechwriter to (as usual) BAP.
Some right-wing Christians instinctively support these attempts. This is understandable, given that figures like BAP espouse anti-Christian rhetoric. It is also misguided; a failure to understand the moment and the task ahead of us.
Behaving like crabs in a bucket - smugly watching as the regime crushes rivals - is small-minded and short-termist. In a time of few victories, it is tempting to embrace the pleasure of watching our rivals suffer.
But, my friend, there are many, many victories to come - victories that we will be unfit and unable to seize if we have allowed ourselves to atrophy by relying on the regime to decimate our ideological rivals for us.
We must understand ourselves not as crabs in a bucket, but as lion cubs, sparring in the knowledge that we will eventually compete for dominance of land and resources, with each other and with foes not yet encountered. But the time to kill each other has not yet come.
Civil war at this time, before we are strong, means death for us all.
The pressure to revert to the crab mentality derives from how constrained we feel by the claustrophobic power structures that dominate our society. As the Regime atrophies, however, new opportunities and vistas will open up. The constraints will relax.
Conquering new horizons will require strength and vitality. Obtaining this strength is our only goal. In this, we are blessed - not cursed - by the rise of the Vitalists. Steel sharpens steel.
We find ourselves in an arms race to craft exciting, seductive messages to capture the hearts and minds of a corner of the internet populated by unusually intelligent and high-agency young men. The battle makes us both stronger. The BAPists are a cure for our decades of complacency.
Better still, they cannot win against us. As I have previously argued, without a home, without faith and ritual, and without a true king, they can never transition from a fascinating online phenomenon to a real world force.
Attempting to cancel them, mirroring the neuroticism of the Left that disgusts us, is deeply unattractive. When the cancellation inevitably fails to achieve anything, the initiators look weak. Don’t do it.
Our ultimate enemy is far larger and more powerful. Any time spent on anything other than strengthening our own group is time wasted. If we cannot defeat the Vitalists on our own merits then will will not survive.
Even if they were to be eliminated, our current society is a spiritual vacuum desperate for a faith. Nasty alternatives to the true Faith will continually spring up. This cannot be prevented.
The future is Mad Max. A wilderness in which brutal forces will compete. We must be the strongest and most unyielding of all, without giving an inch on our beliefs.
For now, no whining. Just sparring.

is it worth reading Bronze Age Mindset?
i have had it on my reading list for years but never got around to it
Good article, but I can hardly blame for Christian community for jumping in against BAP. Unforced error on his part IMHO by being so antagonistic for some time and in response to nothing.
He defines himself as the christian's enemy, therefore he is their enemy.
