It’s been striking to discover how brilliant you are.
Below are some of the comments that this community has left on recent pieces. They really are quite provocative, and I recommend reading through them, and subscribing to the authors that you enjoy.
Though I may not agree with all of these comments, I appreciate the sophistication of the contributions.
My intent is to encourage our truly excellent readers to voice their opinions more, as I’ve found the quality of their thought to be excellent. I’ll do my best to continue highlighting your efforts to the - now thousands! - of readers across my platforms.
Please pitch in!
I have already felt the need to live my entire life as an act of resistance, to raise my children to have faith in God, to be fit, know the classics, to tell them the myths of our people from a young age. To incarnate the eternal in every mundane moment, but this is a life lived in private, not in public display, as such a display would be unseemly. To the left the contortions in public, to us the good life in private.
This goes beyond that, into public art, to wrap the mass mind around public heroic deeds.
Is it finally our time to emerge and conquer?
MA¥A on the power of the trickster:
Sam represents the archetypical soul of the trickster, sitting on the boundary between the incomprehensible (the psychotic) and pure orthodoxy (the NPC). The trickster provides a disruption of pure dichotomies and the collective Geist in society…
Confronting the left with nothing more than the truth breaks their will.
Action represents the ‘Aufhebung’ of that, it’s the only thing negative to words, the only thing words lack in themselves: action implies a direct causality, whereas words dissipate into the wild - either causing direct action or meaning nothing on long time scales.
So the people living in their comfortable dissonance do not know how to confront action. Action means honor, action means honesty.
on leftist intellectual grave-robbing:Women authors are interesting because they're conformists to the dominant morality of the social zeitgeist.
Rowling is a feminist liberal of the era she was raised in; she's a true believer of all of this confused and contradictory positions she advances…
Something I think about in a similar vein is Veronica Roth's Divergent — a confused mixture of RW and LW philosophies… Citizens choose their career path and abandon their families — that's very left-wing. But the choice is permanent, and involves deep sacred feudal privileges and obligations, which is very right-wing.
There's an explicit caste system, which is a rebellion against our current Liberal Meritocracy, because Western bio-leninism always pretends to be in rebellion even when they are in power, and hide from their authority.
But authors like J. K. Rowling, Veronica Roth internalize the civic religion they are taught, and their fantasies are a sort of emotionally conflicted expression of their secret desires. Inwardly they long for authentic and aspirational achievement, passionate romance, magical wish fulfillment. But their stories are constructed to be ecumenically incorporated into the dominant status quo.
The irony here is of course that Western Civilization is trapped in a cycle of permanent rebellion, endless holiness spiraling and sporadic waves of loyalty purges. So Rowling's Harry Potter was Politically Correct during the early 2000s, she was the darling of every Leftist cause, she even worked for Amnesty International before becoming famous.
on the similar structure in The Matrix:I've long noticed the leftist strategy, one of their most insidious, which is really saying something, of hijacking traditional ideas, archetypes, motifs, etc. for their own perverted ends. Or selectively and tactically deploying right-wing tropes and subtexts (like honour, manliness, physical strength or patriotism) that they denounce and screech against in all other contexts. It's like the old overgrown statue of the king in the Return of the King where the whole thing is intact, except the head has been knocked off and replaced with a hideous orc carving. The deepest possible mockery, defilement and desecration, under the guise of faux-sincerity.
on irony:The Matrix is another great example: the whole idea of "redpills" being a small minority of exceptional people, and One among them being the Ur-redpill, is implicitly elitist and anti-democratic.
Irony and its cousin, ironic understatement, have their limits - namely, the intelligence of one's audience.
I’d highly recommend BoP’s Substack for Christian readers:
I tend to agree to a point, but it seems to me these "elite" institutions are falling from grace rather rapidly. Because their selection process is not based on merit, it is inevitable they will decline and eventually fail to be competitive. I wonder if our time should instead be spent building things with people who can get things done efficiently, effectively, and in line with a real vision of progress (not just the one imposed by our current regime.)
Two comments from me on the above: I would alter the second sentence to read: “their selection process is not just based on merit”. This is important because, at least in tech, White and Asian males are still recruited on merit, and make up a large percent of overall technical employees and company leadership. This means that, while everyone at these companies might not be outstanding, there are still good numbers that are. You should try and get close to them.
Secondly: I agree with the final sentence, but I don’t think we’re forced to choose one route or the other - different people can do both in parallel - see the work of
/, and the initiatives of Nate Fischer / New Founding.Stay in the fight dear friends.

Thank you for your response to my comment (and putting it in your Stack today)! I'm a huge supporter of New Founding, so probably largely influences my perspective. Regardless of our strategies, I think the most encouraging thing I've seen in the last three years is the recognition by many people of where we truly are as a nation. Seeing individuals in all sectors and areas of society begin implementing strategies to move us forward towards actual progress (not imposed fraudulent progress) is inspiring. Thank you for adding to the project!!
Many thanks for your kind word, Johann. I need to check my notifications here more often!
